Operation Backpack, a non-profit in New York City has collected mountains of backpacks for thousands of homeless kids in need. Each year the list of school supplies for children gets even bigger.
With schools requesting loads of supplies and even requesting items such as flash drives, calculators, and dictionaries. One sweet 11-year-old homeless girl named Gianna talks about the many supplies she receives from this organization. She is so grateful they exist and doesn't know how she would get her supplies without them.
What an amazing organization. Giving back to children in such a big way warms my heart.
