World War II veteran Thomas Hunter recently passed away at the age of 93. Unfortunately, Thomas had no male relatives to serve as pallbearers during his funeral. That's when some local high school football players stepped in to help.
Six football players wearing their jersey's pitched in and carried the casket during the funeral. The boys said that this was the least they could do and were very thankful for Thomas' service to our country. Everyone deserves to have a proper funeral and thanks to these high schooler's, Thomas was able to have one.
What an amazing act of kindness from these young men. Thomas' may you rest in peace. God bless!
