For the past 12 years, David Deutchman has been a regular visitor at the NICU at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays David volunteers to hold newborns in the NICU when their parents are away.
David lovingly rocks the precious infants and provides them with so much love and care. Because of his kindness, Davis has been nicknamed the 'NICU Grandpa' by the hospital staff. MaryBeth Brulette is the mother of Logan, a baby boy that has been in the hospital for 6 weeks. Each day she comes to the hospital to visit Logan and at night she drives home care for Logan's big sister.
One day, she walked into Logan's room and saw NICU Grandpa holding him and was immediately overcome with so many emotions. She said that this kind gesture means everything to her. What an incredibly sweet man!
