Candace was at home watching a segment on the Doctors about Tarek El Moussa from HGTV’s Flip or Flop. Tarek was sharing his story of battling thyroid cancer and the doctors offered a simple test for viewers to do at home to look for a swollen thyroid. Candace tried it out and saw something wrong. She went to her doctor and discovered that she had thyroid cancer. Now, she is in remission and thanking the doctors that helped save her life.
