Karrisa Alexander was scrolling through Facebook on her phone when she came across a post from a local wedding venue asking if a couple wanted to have a free wedding. The venue had just recently done a mock wedding styled photo shoot and had a bunch of decorations, flowers, and even a cake left over. The florist and venue owner thought it would be neat to see if anyone on Facebook wanted to get married in the next day or two, so the beautiful wedding flowers and decorations wouldn't have to go to waste.
Karrisa was one of the people who saw the crazy Facebook post and texted it to her fiancé Tyler as a joke. Tyler texted her back saying, 'do it!'. The couple was originally supposed to tie the knot last year but a series of events left them having to postpone their wedding until further notice. Karrisa already had a wedding dress and could potentially make this crazy dream come true.
So, she contacted the venue owner and from there everything started to align. Karissa said that she felt God was the one orchestrating this entire whirlwind of events. The wedding went perfectly and Karissa and Tyler couldn't be more thrilled with how everything worked out.
They are so grateful for all of the wedding vendors who selflessly gave of their time and resources to make this wedding happen. What an amazing story of how God's plan for our lives is always better than our own!
