Coleen Nolan is one of the hosts on a British morning show. And on this particular day the ladies were talking about the cost of elder care and how hard it is to make the decision to put an aging parent in a care home.
Coleen bravely opened up about how hard it was for her and her 7 siblings to bring themselves to put their mom in a home. They tried as long as they could to take care of her at home until her Alzheimer's progressed to a point where it was dangerous for her and her family to try to live together. It is so hard to wrestle with the guilt of putting a parent in a home and hearing other's stories can be so encouraging.
Who else can relate to Coleen's story?
