Carissa Villareal was faced with a big dilemma until some amazingly kind strangers stepped in. Her very first homecoming dance was coming up but she had no dress to wear. All of Carissa's clothes, including her dress, were destroyed by the flood waters Hurricane Harvey brought.
Thankfully, some incredible strangers stepped in and started donating dresses to local Texas schools. Over 3,000 dresses from all around the country were shipped in to Dallas. Local students, including Carissa, got to go and shop through all the donated dresses and pick out their favorite one.
Thanks to the kindness of strangers these girls don't have to skip the dance after all. What a beautiful story! I'm so glad that these girls got to go experience their very first homecoming dance. I have a feeling they will be telling this story for years to come!
