18-year-old Tyler Opdyke was passing out fliers in his local neighborhood when he found something peculiar in the driveway of a home. Lying there was a wallet filled with a wad of cash. Tyler grabbed the wallet and went up to the doorstep to return it immediately. He knocked on the door for a few minutes but no one answered.
He knew he needed to leave the wallet in a safe place but wasn't sure where to put it. That's when he noticed that the house had a security camera set up. The camera gave him a great idea. He went up to the camera and showed the wallet that he had found, then he showed that he was putting it under the front door mat.
Later, the homeowner, Melissa Vang, was watching the surveillance footage and was stunned at what the teen did. She was so grateful that he returned the wallet to her with all of the $1500 as well. Most people wouldn't have done that, but Tyler knew that was the right thing to do.
Tyler said, "I've been raised in the Church all my life and I just felt this is not mine, I don't know their family. I don't know what they're going through.". What an amazing young man! It's so great to see that he has so much integrity at such a young age! Never lose that Tyler!
