Rose Ellis was a seamstress for the Alfred Angelo bridal shop in Oklahoma. Rose was suddenly without a job when the store abruptly closed. When Rose left, she took home all the dresses from the store that brides had already paid for.
Rose says,"these girls were frantic trying to find out where their dresses were". She spent the next few weeks tracking down brides and reuniting them with their dresses. If it weren’t for Rose, many of these brides would be out of money and out of a dress as well. Rose is also providing alteration services for free for these brides.
Rose says that her acts of kindness were something that she felt like she was supposed to do. Bless her heart, what an incredibly selfless woman.
