When Charlie Black was just a young trooper he responded to the call of a disturbed man who had a gun and a 19-month-old baby in his car. Charlie convinced the man to put down the gun and rescued the baby boy before he was harmed.
That baby boy was John Govia Jr. and now John is a grown man but he always wondered about the man who saved his life. After years of searching John found an old article that named Charlie as his hero. John found the, now retired, trooper and asked to meet him. But on the way to meet Charlie, John's car broke down on the side of the highway.
So for the second time Charlie rescued John from the side of a highway. And this reunion will warm your heart. I'm so glad these men found each other again.
