KHOU Reporter Brandi Smith was broadcasting on live tv in Texas about Hurricane Harvey when she noticed something horrible. She saw a man trapped in his tractor trailer below the bridge she was standing on. It looked like the truck was in about 10 feet of water.
The flood waters continued to rise so the news reporter stopped her broadcast to flag down people to help. She was able to stop Harris County Sheriff deputies and get them to help the stranded man. The sheriff quickly called in a boat for him. Once rescued, the man thanked everyone who helped rescue him.
This devastating storm has truly brought out the best in people. And in this situation I'm so glad they we're able to band together and save this mans life! Praise God!
