Zully Hernandez originally met Ellen out of the blue while playing the Ellen slot machine in Vegas. Ellen surprised Zully on the spot and gave her tickets to come to California to see Ellen's show. Today, Zully is in the audience. In this video, you can see Ellen ask Zully to come up to the stage and sit with her.
Zully appears to be completely overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude and immediately gives Ellen a huge hug. Ellen then asks Zully how she is coping with the horrific shooting in Vegas and Zully responds simply by saying, "God is good all the time. All the time God is good". Zully also starts talking about how her husband and son are in different states and she doesn't get to see them often.
Then all of a sudden her husband and son come out and surprise her on stage. Tears start streaming down Zully's face as she sees her family.
What an amazing gift! Zully was so grateful to see her family and hug them after this horrible tragedy. That was so sweet of Ellen to arrange that surprise. What an amazing moment!
