CBS News anchor and native Texan, Bob Schieffer shares a beautiful story of how people banded together during Hurricane Harvey. He begins by telling how he lived through Hurricane Buela back in 1967.
He recounts how severe Hurricane Buela was but also shares how incomparable it was to the devastation Harvey brought. Bob talked about how the hurricane brought so many people together. Many people used their trucks and boats to save people without being asked. Bob said, "as it always is, we saw the worst bring out our best." Even though so many of these people's lives have been flipped upside down, they continue to help each other. In many instances people gathered together and formed a human chains to save people trapped in cars.
