Dr. Rick Rigsby, an ordained minister and motivational speaker, is taking the internet by storm. Recently, he was asked to give a commencement speech to a group of students. In the speech Rick talked about how his father was his biggest role model. He went on to tell the audience that his father taught him so much about life and success.
Then, Rick shared that his father was actually a third grade dropout. Rick said that dropping out of school didn't stop his father from working hard every single day to support his family. During all of that his father even taught himself to read and write all on his own.
Rick's words have inspired so many people to never give up despite the challenges they are faced with. If his father could conquer all that he did, I have no doubt all of us will be able to chase our dreams as well. What an amazing speech Rick! Great job!
