Until today, these children have never met anyone who has Alzheimer's. They have no previous knowledge of what this disease is or how it effects peoples lives. Listen to their reactions, questions, and words of encouragement as they talk to this incredible woman.
She does such an amazing job of explaining the disease in a way that these children can understand. Even I learned a few things myself about the illness. When the children realize how serious this is you can see a few of them start to cry. They start to feel an overwhelming sense of empathy as well as sadness because there is no cure.
I know that there will be a cure one day for this. I pray that God will give doctors the knowledge and wisdom to end this suffering. Amen!
