Joyce Meyers always has a way of speaking so much truth with just a few words. In this video she talks about the importance of forgiveness.
We as christians are called by God to forgive those who have wronged us. I love how honest Joyce is when talking about this struggle. She knows that forgiving people that deeply hurt us is hard. But, the interesting point she made was that it is up to the person who wronged us to get right with the Lord. She goes on to encourage us to pray for them to turn to God in repentance.
This was truly eye-opening to hear. Forgiveness is only half of the equation. She also tells us to help the person who has wronged us if they have a need. Sometimes this can be extremely hard but we as Christians need to do this. What great perspective from such an inspiring woman of God!
