When Hope for Paws got a call about a dog who was abandoned by the side of a busy road they leapt into action. The dog waited for weeks for his family to return for him but they never did. After a bit of struggle they set a trap for Pepe the dog. And though Pepe was afraid at first, he soon realized these rescuers were here to help. Seeing sweet Pepe's heart change when he felt loved again made me all misty!
