The joy of getting a new best friend in a dog is truly incredible. But sadly lots of puppies given as gifts end up as lonely older dogs in shelters because their family didn't realize the responsibility. Dogs and cats are family so make sure you treat them with the same consideration. And if you are ready for a dog please adopt, don't shop!
