Anahi Muniz, a high school student and Chick-Fil-A employee is an amazing young woman and very hard worker. She has overcome so many obstacles in her life and continues to have a positive attitude through it all.
She had to learn to speak, read and write English as a fourth grader. But that didn't stop her at all. She went on to excel at school and eventually graduated in the top 10% of her class. She has hopes and dreams of becoming a doctor but she knows it's going to be very expensive.
So when Chick-Fil-A heard about her story, they decided to reward her with a huge scholarship. She was rewarded a $25,000 towards her education. In this video, you can see how emotional she gets when she receives the award. You can tell just by watching, how much this truly means to her and how thankful she is.
I teared up with her, trying to imagine how hard it must have been to learn a new language and adapt in a new country. Her parents must be so incredibly proud of her. We're rooting and praying for you Anahi!
