While he was out driving Police Officer Patrick Hennessey noticed two pit bulls sitting in the middle of the road. Upon closer look he noticed that one of the dogs was severely injured. He decided to sit in the road with the scared dogs until help arrived.
The police officers decided to name the dogs Justice and Liberty. The dogs are now being cared for at a local animal shelter. Thanks to Patrick these sweet pups have a second chance at life.
What an amazing story! I'm so glad that Patrick stopped to help these poor animals. It goes to show that one act of kindness can save a life, and in this case, the lives of two adorable pit bulls.
