Brian Parker recently was offered the job of a lifetime. Brian has special needs and has never had the opportunity to have a job where he clocks in and out every day.
Right now Brian has a job taking out the trash for everyone in his parents neighborhood but longs for something more. Brian was recently introduced to Heidi, a woman opening a new ice cream shop called Howdy's Homemade.
Because of her 21-year-old special needs son named Jack, Heidi's goal is to employ special needs men and women in her ice cream shop. Heidi's grandfather owned an ice cream shop years ago and even had a special needs daughter. Heidi says, "Call it divine intervention or whatever you want to call it. Someone's working on our behalf making a new ice cream store two generations later,".
At the stores grand opening lots of special needs people came to support the mission. And Brian is having an amazing time at his new job! God clearly orchestrated all the pieces that lead this new ice cream shop to open. What an amazing story!
