Robb Scott is the father to a beautiful boy with Down Syndrome. Recently, Rob was at the grocery store when he overheard another dad trying to explain Down Syndrome to his own children. The dad called down syndrome an 'illness'.
Hearing that really struck a cord with Robb. Robb knew he should step in and help educate the family, but he decided not to take the opportunity. On Robb's drive home he was overcome with lots of emotions because he missed his chance. He then decided to pull over on the side of the road and record what he wished he had said to the family.
In the video, Robb describes how Down Syndrome is 'literally one of the most beautiful things that’s ever happened in my life.' Hearing him express what his whole heart was feeling got me tearing up as well. What a loving and caring father.
