In 2016, Freya Markowski ran a red light and struck David Francisco while he was biking. David was left paralyzed and Freya was devastated. She had recently stopped her medicine for bipolar disorder and was having an episode during the accident.
While he was recovering, Freya sent David a long apology letter expressing how sorry she was for the accident. Then David responded saying that he had actually already forgiven her. He understood that it was an accident and that Freya did not intentionally mean to hurt him.
Now, these two are meeting for the first time and it's all captured in this video. What an amazing act of kindness on David's part! God bless the both of you.
