Lunchtime for most kids is a normal part of the school day. But for one boy is class who had no lunch, it made him embarrassed and sad. All the other kids opened their lunch boxes full of joy and proceeded to eat while he pretended to go to the bathroom so no one would notice his empty lunch box.
But once the boy returned to the classroom, he was surprised to find that his empty lunchbox was now full with lots of delicious food. As he looked around the room, he knew his fellow students had graciously given him parts of their lunch.
This story brought a tear to my eye! What a powerful reminder of what kindness can do.
