It's hard to believe that April the giraffe's son Tajiri is already six months old! It seems like yesterday that the whole world watched Tajiri grow in his mama's tummy.
Tajiri celebrated his 1/2 birthday milestone with a big cake made of apples and lettuce. Tajiri has grown so much in these past 6 months, he now stands tall next to his mama and weighs around 450 pounds. It's amazing to watch animals grow so fast when they are young.
We're so glad Tajiri is happy and healthy and we can't wait to see if he gains a sibling in the next few years! Wouldn't that be fun?
