8-Year-Old Harrison Holt stepped up in a big way for his family last week when his family's house caught on fire. Harrison's dad John was putting away the lawn mower and all of a sudden he saw flames.
John quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher and tried to diffuse the flames but it didn't seem to be work. Then John yelled for Harrison to call 911. That's when Harrison kicked into survival mode, he grabbed his 11-Month-Old baby sister, Marie, and younger brother Patrick and led them outside to the oak tree.
Harrison then quickly dialed 911 and informed the operator of what had happened. When John finally got out of the house, he was happy to see that all three kids were safe and sound under the tree and Harrison had taken care of it all.
What a brave young boy! John says, the family had practiced a fire safety drill days before the incident and considers that the reason why all three kids remained so calm. Thank God everyone came out safe and sound!
