Ella Russell is celebrating her fifth birthday this year in a very unique way. Each year Ella chooses to donate part of her birthday money to one cause. This year she had $10 to give to a charity.
She decided to help out the Hurricane Harvey survivors with her money by buying them water. Then Ella's mom, Jennifer Perkins, posted on social media and asked friends and family if they would like to chip in and help Ella raise more money to make a bigger impact. With all the money she raised, Ella was able to purchase 146 cases of water for the flood survivors.
What an amazing young girl with such a big heart. I pray her love and generosity stay with her as she grows up!
