Edward has looked after Sadie since she was only 5 years old. As her stepdad he helped raise her, love her, and show her how to navigate the world. And though he may not biologically be her father, he has been her dad for almost 20 years.
Sadie, now 23, decided that she really wanted to make Edward officially her dad. So she wrote him a riddle and gave him a gift to surprise him with the adoption papers.
