Kelly and Ryan were playing their daily trivia game when something unexpected happened. They placed a call to a woman named Joan and when Joan answered the amazing story began. Kelly and Ryan began to talk to Joan and found out that she was actually on the way home from the hospital. She said she had just gotten a breast cancer mastectomy done.
Joan said she never misses an episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan but she had to miss one when she had her surgery the day before. Joan told them that she always takes notes and waits for their call every morning. Kelly and Ryan got really chocked up hearing Joan’s story so they decided to do something amazing.
They let Joan spin the wheel and they gave her a really easy question to answer so she had no choice but to win her vacation. They both knew that she deserved to relax after all that she had been through. What a kind gesture on behalf of Kelly and Ryan!
