It's very easy to give praise to God when everything is going well. But it's in the times of suffering that we start the question His actions. This powerful illustration gives a bit of insight into why God allows suffering.
Next time I'm going through a hard patch, I will remember this story and thank God for all the blessings He gives to us. God truly knows the end and each of His actions are for a reason.
Trust in the Lord and He will provide. Who else found comfort in this?
