Tia, a young girl with special needs recently went through a really hard time. One of the things she loves to do is ride her bike. Her parents had given her a special bicycle that she was able to ride on her own. Though one day she woke up to discover that someone had stolen her bike from her backyard.
This really upset Tia a lot. She had so much fun being independent and riding her bike. But now she couldn't do that. Thankfully, the Fox5 Surprise Squad stepped in to help. The squad got together with community partners to plan a special surprise for Tia and her mom.
In this video, you can see Tia and her mom's emotional reactions to all the surprises they were given. One of those surprises being brand new bikes for the both of them. They also received $5000 to help with daily living expenses. What an amazing gift!
