Doctor Amanda Hess was about to be induced for her own pregnancy, when she heard another mom screaming in pain down the hall. Amanda had already changed into her hospital gown and was minutes away from going into labor. But Amanda knew she had to help this mother, named Leah, quickly.
So Amanda went down the hall and was informed that Leah's doctor was still on her way to the hospital. Amanda noticed the babies heart rate was dropping quickly and so she intervened immediately. Amanda delivered the baby just in the nick of time. And soon after, she finally went back to her own hospital room ready to be induced.
What a strong and selfless woman. The Holy Spirit was clearly nudging her to step in, and I'm glad she listened to the prompting. Praise the Lord for two happy and healthy babies and moms.
