It's absolutely miraculous just what humans can do when we put our minds to something. :)
Meredith Fitzmaurice entered the Run for Heroes, but only for the half-marathon. She had only ever run 20 miles before and didn't want to push herself and get hurt.
But then she took a wrong turn.
"I just run with my watch, so I was watching my time since I planned to do my half in under 1:28," she said. "I was doing the race as training for my first full marathon in Detroit. But I’m looking at the time and wondering where the finish line is."
When Meredith realized she was on the marathon course, instead of giving up, she dug deep inside of herself and finished the race. Not only that, but she was the first woman to finish and 10th overall, qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
Every part of God's creation is truly miraculous. With God's help, we can find the strength to do things that are truly miraculous.
So even if you go off course in life, never give up. Things may turn out better than you could have ever imagined. :)
