When Cindy and Ernie Romans were in the process of moving their family their beloved Beagle, Sassy, ran away. The family tried not to lose hope waiting for their beloved dog to come home. However that was over a year ago.
Despite the Roman family’s efforts to find Sassy, she ended up in a county kill shelter where she was on a list to be put down. Thanks to two Good Samaritans and the Forever Home Beagle Rescue Sassy was saved. Her foster family took her from the shelter in Kentucky to their home in Pennsylvania.
Sassy lived with her foster family for two months until a routine vet visit proved that Sassy had a microchip. Her foster family assumed the shelter would have checked for a microchip, but were thrilled to be wrong.
Sassy’s foster family contacted the Romans to arrange Sassy’s homecoming. After 17 months apart Sassy and her family will be reunited today.
Thank God for these beautiful Guardian Angels who love God’s creatures the way he does!
